Biography
I was born in St. Louis, MO, but grew up in Southeast Michigan in Auburn Hills, MI. I went to the University of Michigan for undergrad where I received a B.S. in Biomolecular Sciences and then completed my M.S. in Biological Chemistry. I went to Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. I completed my Transitional Year at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
I choose the DMC/WSU PM&R program because of its comprehensive education and diverse patient population. Most importantly, I choose this program because of the strong faculty and amazing residents that truly make this program special. I am interested in multiple fields of PM&R and am planning on pursuing a fellowship in Brain Injury and Sports Medicine.
Outside of medicine, I love to play sports like basketball, football, soccer, watch movies, travel the world, play video games and cook. Fun facts: I almost started a restaurant before starting medical school.
I have recently accepted a Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
