Biography

I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit in West Bloomfield. Later, I attended the University of Michigan, where I received my undergraduate degree in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience. After undergrad I moved to Chicago to complete my medical school education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, I stayed in Chicago and completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at Ascension St. Francis of Evanston.

One of the reasons I chose to complete my residency at RIM was because of the large variety of patients encountered there. My professional interests include neuromuscular diseases, transplant rehab and sports medicine, just to name a few.

My outside interest includes Detroit sports, especially the Lions (One Pride!), trying new restaurants, and Sunday night dinners with my family.
