Barent Bradt, D.O.
Biography
I was born in Sarnia, Ontario, raised in Port Huron, MI. I went to college at Michigan State for undergrad in athletic training. After college I worked as an athletic trainer for a few years before attending Medical school at MSUCOM. I completed my intern year at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson MI. I became interested in PM&R during my undergrad working with athletes at MSU and one of our team physicians who was a physiatrist.
I choose RIM due to the diverse patient population and wide variety of pathologies. My interests include: sports medicine, ultrasound and interventional pain procedures, concussion and TBI.
Outside of medicine I enjoy going on hikes with my wife and our dog Rosie, lifting, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, reading and hunting for Petoskey stones on the beaches of Michigan.
Barent Bradt, D.O., has accepted an attending faculty position with Mary Free Bed Munson Healthcare, Traverse City, Michigan.
