Biography

I grew up in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I attended medical school at Universidad Iberoamericana, and completed my intern year at Sinai Grace Hospital- DMC in Detroit, MI. Finding the purpose of my professional career is something that I have no doubt searched for. I became interested in PM&R during voluntary work in medical school. I moved to Detroit in 2019 and spent two years doing research prior to starting residency training.

I am beyond grateful to be at RIM, I feel like I have found a family away from home. RIM is a great place to train, we are a stand-alone hospital in the city of Detroit, within the DMC, that serves a diverse patient population. We have a very supportive faculty with open-door policy, and there are unlimited opportunities to exceed.

Outside of work I enjoy playing volleyball, traveling, dancing, and trying out new restaurants.
