Biography

I was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. I received my undergraduate degree at UC Davis in Northern California, and my masters at KGI in southern California. I went to medical school at MSU CHM in Michigan and performed my transitional year of residency at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. Over the years I have also worked in the food service industry, biotech, construction, Peace Corps, clinical research, and education.

I chose RIM for training because I felt confident that I would receive the training I needed to perform at a high level after traditional education has ended. On top of that, all of the residents are great to work with.

Professionally, I am interested in pain medicine, sports medicine, spine, prosthetics/orthotics, and general rehab. Personally, I enjoy reading, time in nature, sports, and hanging with family/friends/pets.
