Biography
Howdy, I was born in Cincinnati, OH but I grew up in small town Alexandria, LA. I went to Rice University in Houston, Tx (Peck 'em Owls!) for undergrad where I received a B.A. in Psychology. I went across the street for medical school at McGovern Medical School and completed my Medicine pre-lim there as well. I found my way back to the Mid-West for residency at the DMC/WSU.
I chose RIM because of our supportive faculty and PD; you'll hear RIM family mentioned here and that culture extends everywhere from the nurses and staff to the CEO. I'm interested in general rehab and sports medicine, and I'm confident that the wide variety of patients and pathologies seen at RIM will prepare me for any patient in the future.
Outside of medicine, I love to eat and explore all the restaurants in Detroit or travel to other states/countries to experience new foods. If I'm not eating, I love to play and watch sports like tennis, golf, basketball, and soccer (COYG) or watch movies.
