Biography
I grew up in Metro Detroit in Rochester, Michigan. I attended Michigan State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Biology through Lyman Briggs College. I remained in East Lansing to complete my medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating from medical school, I completed my Transitional Year at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.
I chose to continue my training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan for many reasons. The patient population is diverse and medically complex, with exposure to a wide range of rehabilitation specialties, including spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. This broad clinical experience provides a strong foundation to practice PM&R in any setting. The residency program fosters a close-knit, supportive community—residents here truly feel like family and maintain lifelong professional connections. My interests in the field include Pain Management and General PM&R.
Outside of medicine, I love Detroit! I proudly wear Honolulu Blue whenever I can and rarely pass up a chance to catch a game at Ford Field or Little Caesars Arena. I also enjoy lifting weights and spending time scrolling through Yelp to find the best local restaurants.
