Biography

I was born in Pasadena, California, and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I completed my undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, earning a degree in Environmental Biology. During that time, I developed a strong interest in the clinical and economic forces shaping healthcare—an interest that led me to complete a dual MD/MBA at Indiana University.

I chose RIM because of its genuinely supportive culture, something consistently reflected in my conversations with faculty, residents, and staff. Rather than following a rigid path I value opportunities that allow for meaningful, individualized growth. I found that RIM provides a strong clinical and educational foundation while also offering the flexibility to pursue experiences aligned with my own career interests. During residency, I plan to explore my clinical interests in pain management and sports medicine, while also engaging in non-clinical efforts to improve care delivery from a systems-level perspective.

Outside of medicine I enjoy staying active through CrossFit and climbing, enduring a daily cold plunge, and exploring the great food scene in Detroit.
