Geoffrey K. Seidel, M.D., Clinical Professor

Dr. Seidel is a prominent specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Head of Henry Ford’s Spine Center.  He is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with appropriate medications, therapy and other interventions. He uses electrodiagnostic medicine as an extension of his evaluation process to determine symptoms, treatment approaches, and facilitate patient care decisions.

Dr. Seidel is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Wayne State University and Michigan State University.  He is a member of both the American and Michigan Academies of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the Macomb County Medical Society, Michigan Medical Society and the American Medical Association.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of the Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has been recognized as a top physician in the Detroit Super Doctors list.

A graduate of State University School of Medicine in New York, Dr. Seidel is also a diplomate and fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a diplomate of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
